Evergreen StormH2O prides itself on having the skillset and experience necessary to navigate the increasingly complex regulatory process. Our team’s passion for stormwater and up-to-date understanding of the dynamic National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) and State Waste Discharge Permit (MS4 Permit), as well as the UIC Rule requirements, allows us to provide compliance support and develop plans that are customized to our clients’ visions. The result is actionable, sustainable plans. Our team’s experience will allow us to be efficient and effective in assessing and improving your stormwater program to meet regulatory requirements and your jurisdiction’s goals.
Our staff have completed numerous stormwater comprehensive and watershed plans. Our work on these projects has included identifying problem areas and developing solutions; gap analysis for compliance with the MS4 Permit, UIC Rule, and jurisdiction-specific requirements; Capital Improvement Plans (CIPs); asset management; and rate studies. Our staff collaborate with clients to understand their unique goals and develop plans that are scaled to the budget that supports compliance and provides an action plan for clients to implement.
Our staff work closely with Permittees statewide to help them meet these permit requirements, and more: develop source control programs; improve/develop operation, maintenance, and inspection programs, and Illicit Discharge Detection and Elimination (IDDE) programs; update and develop codes/ordinances; develop Stormwater Management Action Plans (SMAPs) and Public Education and Outreach programs; as well as select asset management software and recommend procedures to streamline data management. We have also worked with Ecology to develop templates Permittees use to meet various compliance requirements.
Our staff are seasoned modelers with extensive experience developing, calibrating, validating, and applying various surface water models for both planning and design projects. Our experience modeling includes several programs: SWMM, HEC-RAS, SRH-2D, StormShed, MGSFlood,
and WWHM.
Our staff have developed, authored, and contributed to the development of municipal stormwater manuals and guidance documents. Most manuals and documents were developed in coordination with the client, Ecology, and a technical advisory committee, and several of them are approved by Ecology as equivalent to the Ecology Stormwater Management Manuals.
